Delete your data
Last updated: 2 August 2026
You can request deletion of your PostAirport data at any time. This page explains the available paths and the data covered. A completed full-account deletion covers your account, connected Instagram accounts ("terminals"), access tokens, post records, applicable staged media, cached insights, cached comments, user-initiated conversations and messages, attachment metadata, webhook receipts, and manual-action records, subject to any limited records we must retain by law.
Choose how to delete
Option 1 — Disconnect or delete in the app
-
Sign in
Go to app.postairport.com and sign in with your magic link.
-
Open Terminals
Navigate to Terminals (your connected Instagram accounts).
-
Disconnect an account
Choose Disconnect terminal on any terminal. This starts removal of that connection's stored token, scheduled content records, cached insights, comments, user-initiated conversations and messages, messaging preference and opt-out records, webhook/action records, and applicable staged media.
-
Or delete everything
Follow the Open account data settings link at the bottom of Terminals and choose Delete my data permanently to request permanent removal of your PostAirport account and associated data. The application confirms the destructive action before it proceeds.
Option 2 — Email us
Send a request to privacy@postairport.com from the email address on your account (or tell us which account to delete). We will verify the request and delete your data. Please allow up to 30 days, though we typically act much sooner.
Option 3 — Remove PostAirport from Instagram
You can revoke PostAirport's access directly from Instagram:
- In the Instagram app, go to Settings → Apps and websites (under Website permissions / Business tools).
- Find PostAirport-IG (PostAirport's Instagram connection) and choose Remove.
When you do this, Instagram/Meta may send PostAirport a signed deauthorization or data-deletion request. After validating it, we initiate removal of the tokens and Platform Data for that account. For a data-deletion request, our system issues a confirmation code and a status URL where you can check the result.
What gets deleted
- Your account and sign-in records.
- All connected Instagram account records and their encrypted access tokens.
- Any staged media (photos, videos, and covers) still in our storage.
- Cached account and per-post insights.
- Draft, scheduled, published, failed, and canceled post records held by PostAirport.
- Cached comments, user-initiated conversations and messages, attachment metadata, messaging preference and opt-out records, webhook receipts, and manual-action records tied to the connected account.
We may retain limited billing and transaction records where required for legal, tax, or accounting purposes, as described in our Privacy Policy. Deleting PostAirport's stored data cannot undo actions already completed on Instagram, including published posts, created replies, moderation changes, private replies, or messages. Manage that Instagram-side content and activity directly in Instagram where applicable.
How long it takes
In-app and valid Meta requests start processing promptly. We report them complete only after the applicable stored records and staged objects are confirmed removed. Email requests require identity verification and may take up to 30 days.
